Therians
Glowing with an electro-organic soundtrack, Thérians is conceived of as a solo for two performers who are an extension of one and the same figure. For the first time, a photographic image has been brought onto the set that allows light of fluctuating intensity to pass through. Its nocturnal halo plays with the outline of the dancers. One somehow thinks of the courtship rituals of birds of paradise; set designers, builders, collectors, tap dancers and singers… In bodies in black and white, mysterious reminiscences of this side of nature in turmoil.
